👻 Protected Play & Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday: a Protected Play on Fridays. Make a MAX entry from your Main Wallet at 10x or under. If it loses, get up to 10 promo credits back.

Protected Play & Freaky Friday

Overview

Protected Play is a family of promos. Freaky Friday is one of them: a Protected Play offered on Fridays. Eligible players may get a Protected Play in their Promos tab: make one cash MAX entry, and if it loses, the entry amount comes back as promo credits, up to the cap shown on the offer.

Eligibility: Protected Play is offered at Payday's sole discretion and is not available to all users. Eligibility is determined by the Operator on a user-by-user or cohort basis and may change without notice. Payday reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue this promotion, or any user's participation in it, at any time and without prior notice.

Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday (from Friday, October 16): A Protected Play for eligible players on Fridays. The offer appears at 3:00 a.m. ET Friday. Opt in and place your entry by 3:00 a.m. ET Saturday, and every pick's game must start in that window. Make a MAX entry from your Main Wallet, any entry amount, any number of picks, with a total multiplier of 10x or under. If it loses, get up to 10 promo credits back.

Rules

  • Dates: Each Protected Play shows its use-by date and any game window on the offer.

  • Opt-in: On the Promos tab, tick “I opt in to the promotion and agree to its terms.” and tap Opt In before you submit your entry.

  • Refund amount: If the entry loses, the entry amount comes back as promo credits, up to the refund cap shown on the offer.

  • Entry type: Must be a MAX entry paid from your Main Wallet.

  • Limits: Any multiplier or pick limits are shown on the offer. League and entry rules and your account's max-win limit always apply.

  • One promo per entry: Protected Play can't be used on same-game entries or combined with a boosted pick or another promo.

  • Limit: One per person, household, or device per offer.

  • Operator control: Payday may cancel, suspend, or limit participation at any time.

Instructions

Promos tab

  • Go to the Promos tab, tick “I opt in to the promotion and agree to its terms.” and tap Opt In.

Building an entry

  • Build a MAX entry on your entry slip.

  • Pick Protected Play under Use a Promo on your MAX entry slip before you submit. If the entry doesn't meet the rules, you can't apply it.

  • Submit your entry.

Settlement

  • If the entry wins: You receive the normal payout to your Main Wallet.

  • If the entry loses: The entry amount, up to the refund cap on the offer, comes back as promo credits in your Promos tab.

  • Timing: Promo credits are usually credited within 20 minutes after your entry is settled, often sooner (not the moment the game ends).

  • Promo credits: Promo credits aren't cash and can't be withdrawn. They expire 7 days after they're issued unless the offer says otherwise. If an entry made with them wins, you get the payout minus the credits used, paid to your Main Wallet.

Cancelled & voided entries

If the entry is voided, the entry amount goes back to your Main Wallet and the Protected Play is used. If you cancel the entry within the cancellation window, the promo goes back to opted-in and you can use it again.

Fraud

Payday may void any promo, entries and winnings linked to fraud, including chargebacks.

What changed: October 15, 2026. Freaky Friday is now part of the Protected Play family. A losing entry returns promo credits instead of bonus funds, and each offer shows its own dates and limits.
