Our commitment to fair gameplay, including how we prevent cheating, abuse, and ensure a level playing field for all users.

At Payday Fantasy, we believe that fair, transparent, and balanced gameplay is the foundation of a great user experience. This policy outlines our rules, system disclosures, and limitations to ensure every user competes on a level playing field.

1. Gameplay Integrity

Payday Fantasy operates on a system of:

  • Pre-determined odds and projections based on real-world player statistics and third-party data

  • Peer-to-peer matchups and marketplace mechanics where users can back or challenge picks

  • One pick per player in an entry to reduce correlation exploits and maintain fair pricing

  • Fixed lock times for all entries, based on scheduled start times from official league data

Once an entry is submitted and locked, no modifications can be made.

2. Data Providers & Projections

  • All player data (e.g. yards, points, completions) is sourced from verified sports data providers

  • Projections used for gameplay are based on publicly available and internal models and are not adjusted dynamically after user entry

  • Final results are scored based on official league statistics

3. Voided Picks and Player Injuries

To preserve fairness when player availability changes:

  • If a player does not participate in a real-life event, that pick is voided and removed from the entry

  • If a player becomes injured mid-game, the outcome will be graded based on performance prior to injury unless it qualifies for our Voided Policy.

  • If the projection is exceeded prior to injury, both MORE and LESS sides remain valid

  • If the projection is not exceeded prior to injury, both sides of the projection, both MORE and LESS will be voided

These rules apply across all leagues consistently to protect both sides of an entry.

4. Entry & Pick Restrictions

To maintain balanced gameplay:

  • Only one pick per player is allowed per entry

  • Certain props or pick combinations may be restricted at our discretion. Our system will automatically detect and block these combinations before submission. You will receive a notification explaining the restriction.

  • Users are strictly prohibited from submitting identical or permutated pick sets across multiple accounts or coordinating pick directions with others to manipulate outcomes or gain an unfair advantage in general or marketplace entries. Such behavior is considered collusion and is a violation of our policies.

Violations of these rules may result in entry rejection or account penalties under our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Marketplace Gameplay Disclosures

If you use our peer-to-peer or “Marketplace” mode:

  • Your entry becomes publicly visible and may be copied, modified, or faded by others

  • You may earn a share of the commission for entries that tail or challenge your picks

  • All matched entries follow the same lock rules, scoring systems, and payout structure

  • Any changes to the underlying player line or price will require manual re-confirmation by the user or the entry will be removed. Users must manually confirm any updates to the underlying player prop, including changes to the line, price, or market availability.

  • Entries listed in the marketplace may have been created at an earlier time, and as such, the original player markets may be closed or the prop value and payout odds may have changed. To ensure fairness and transparency, users will be notified of any changes and given the option to review and accept the updated entry details before submitting.

  • If the user accepts the changes and proceeds, the entry remains eligible for the commission structure. If the user rejects the updated terms, the entry will not be submitted and will not qualify for commission payouts.

  • This process ensures that all users knowingly participate with current and accurate odds at the time of play.

6. Game Manipulation and Abuse

Any user attempting to manipulate gameplay, odds, or the marketplace system will face:

  • Entry voids and removal from current or pending play

  • Suspension or permanent ban

  • Forfeiture of winnings or account funds in cases of abuse

Examples of abuse include but are not limited to scripting picks, exploiting projection loopholes, and coordinated collusion.

7. Rule Transparency and Updates

All gameplay rules and payout structures are available in the Help Center. If rules are updated or props are adjusted:

  • Changes will be communicated clearly before they go into effect

  • Any entries placed before the change will retain their original terms

  • Users will be notified if any pick is no longer available or valid before lock time
