☠️ Payday Survivor: How It Works

Payday Survivor is a multi-round elimination contest where you pick player props to stay alive. Submit picks each round, get them right, and keep going. Last one standing wins the prize pool.

🎯 What is Payday Survivor?

  • A multi-round elimination contest built on player prop picks (more/less on individual player projections).

  • Every entry is a single continuous entry from Round 1 all the way to the final round — one entry fee covers the whole run.

  • Submit picks before each round locks, get them right, and advance. One wrong required pick and you're out.

  • The last entry standing wins the prize pool. If max rounds are reached or everyone is eliminated in the same round, the pool is split equally among survivors.

📋 Player & Pick Rules

  • No player repeats — you can't pick the same player twice across rounds within a single entry. Once used, they're locked out for your entire entry.

    • Edge case — if your eligible player pool is fully exhausted, Payday's system automatically permits player re-selection for everyone who hits this scenario.

  • Teams may repeat across rounds — only individual players are restricted.

  • Projections may move before the round lock. You pick at the projection available at the moment of submission.

  • Once a round locks, picks cannot be edited.

  • Subs are submitted at the same time as starters — subs cannot be added after submission.

  • Your picks are visible to all other users once the round is locked, including your subs.

💰 Prize Pool & Entry Fees

  • Every contest has a guaranteed prize pool that is fixed and disclosed before entries open.

  • The guaranteed prize pool is never reduced after entries open.

  • Payday may, at its discretion, boost the prize pool above the guaranteed minimum. Any boost is funded by Payday

  • 👉 When a Payday Boost is applied, you'll see: $X Guaranteed + $Y Payday Boost = $Z Total Prize Pool

  • A platform fee of 0%–10% applies depending on the contest. You'll always see the full breakdown — entry fee, platform fee, and total — before you confirm.

  • If a contest is cancelled for any reason, your entry fee and platform fee are both refunded in full.

🏁 Round 1

📋 What you submit:

  • 2 starters + 2 subs = 4 total picks

  • All 4 picks must be from 4 different teams

✅ To advance:

  • At least 1 of your 2 starter picks must grade as a WIN

  • A push/tie counts as a loss

❌ Voided entry:

  • If your lineup can't produce 2 active graded picks (e.g. all picks are voided by DNPs or Injury Voids), your entry is voided and your entry fee is refunded in full

🔄 Round 2 and Beyond

📋 What you submit:

  • 1 starter + 2 subs = 3 total picks

✅ To advance:

  • Your 1 starter pick must grade as a WIN

  • A push counts as a loss

❌ To be eliminated:

  • Your starter pick grades as a loss

  • OR total lineup failure occurs (all starters and subs voided)

🔁 How Substitutes (SUBS) Work

Subs are your safety net. They activate automatically when your starter(s) is voided.

A void happens when:

  • Player is ruled DNP (Did Not Play)

  • Player's prop market is removed or settled as void

  • Game is postponed, suspended, or cancelled

  • Player qualifies for Payday Injury Voided Policy

Sub activation order:

  • Subs are pre-ranked by you at submission — Sub 1 activates first, Sub 2 activates second

  • There's no fixed pairing between a specific starter and a specific sub — subs replace voided starters in order

Round 1 example:

  • Starter 1 DNP → Sub 1 activates. Starter 2 DNP → Sub 2 activates. Your lineup grades on Sub 1 and Sub 2.

  • ⚠️ In Round 1 only, Payday rechecks the team diversity rule after any sub activation.

Round 2+ example:

  • Starter DNP → Sub 1 activates. Sub 1 also voided → Sub 2 activates. Your lineup grades on Sub 2.

Total lineup failure:

  • Round 1 — all starters AND subs voided → entry voided, fee refunded

  • Round 2+ — all starters AND subs voided → eliminated, no refund

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Payday Survivor is available only in states where it is lawful to offer as a real-money game of skill. Location verification is required before entering any paid contest.

  • You must submit your picks before the round lock time — late submissions are not accepted.

  • Once a round locks, picks cannot be changed.

  • Payday reserves the right to cancel a a contest at any time before it begins.

  • In extreme edge cases, Payday may void an individual entry, a game, or an entire round at its sole discretion. This may occur when a game postponement or cancellation blocks the contest from proceeding to the next round, or when a scenario causes all available games in a round to be voided.

    • In the event of a full round void, Payday will make a fair determination — all entries will advance to the next round regardless of their pick results for that round.

    • These actions are taken to protect the integrity of the contest and ensure a fair experience for all participants.

🏟️ Hosted Contests

Some Survivor contests are co-hosted with community organizers or content creators.

  • All hosted contests are operated exclusively by Payday

💡 Pro Tips

  • Plan your player pool early — once you use a player they're gone for your whole entry. Save your best options for later rounds.

  • Rank your subs strategically — Sub 1 activates first, so put your most reliable backup at the top.

  • Turn on notifications — Survivor lives and dies on whether you submit before the lock. Set reminders so you never ghost a round.
