Instead of playing against the house or waiting for another player to be online at the same time, Decks are designed for asynchronous, peer-to-peer gameplay. You make your moves when you're ready, and another player can play against your completed game afterward.
🎮 How Decks Work
Choose a Decks game and submit your entry.
Play the game and make your decisions just as you normally would.
Once your game is complete, your gameplay is recorded and saved for another player to play against.
Another player is matched with your game and plays the same game under the same conditions.
The results are compared based on the scoring rules of that specific game.
🏆 The player with the higher score wins.
You don't need to be online at the same time as your opponent. Decks are built around asynchronous gameplay, so you can play when it's convenient for you.
👀 Review Your Opponent's Gameplay
Decks provide replays on certain gameplay so you can review the exact actions taken during an opponent's game.
This allows you to see how the game was played, including the decisions and actions that led to the final score.
Replays are available after gameplay has been completed, giving you a way to review the game and understand exactly how the other player played.
⏱️ Matchmaking
Every Decks game has a 72-hour matchmaking window.
After you submit your entry, Payday will attempt to match your game with another player for up to 72 hours.
If your game does not receive a match within 72 hours:
🔒 The game will automatically close.
💰 Your entry fee will be refunded to your Main Wallet.
✅ No action is required from you to receive the refund.
