🎮 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Prop Definitions

Definitions for Counter-Strike (CS2) prop types, including map rules, scoring, grading, and all match scenarios.

✅ Player Participation – Action Rule

A CS2 pick becomes action the moment the player:

  • Loads into the server

  • Begins the match

  • Plays the start of Map 1

As long as the player starts the match, the projection WILL NOT VOID, even if:

  • The player is subbed out later

  • The player disconnects

  • The player only plays a few rounds

  • The match goes long or short

Their stats are graded only from the rounds they played, but the pick remains valid.

📡 Official Data Source

All stats are taken directly from Valve/Counter-Stike official match data providers.
We never use unofficial data or manual edits.

📊 Stat Definitions

🔹 Kills

A kill is counted when a player eliminates an opponent:

  • During live rounds

  • Immediately after the round ends (before the hard reset)

Kills include:

  • Gun kills

  • Sniper kills

  • Grenade / utility kills

  • Post-round kills before reset

Kills do NOT include:

  • Team kills

  • Self-kills

🔹 Headshots

A headshot is counted when the final blow that eliminates the opponent is a headshot.

Headshots include:

  • Rifle headshots

  • Pistol headshots

  • SMG headshots

  • Sniper headshots

Only the killing blow determines whether a kill is scored as a headshot.

🧭 Match Coverage, Maps & Span Rules

🔹 Map-Specific Projections

Each projection will clearly state the map(s) included:

  • Map 1

  • Map 2

  • Map 3

  • Map 1–2 (Map 1 and Map 2)

Your projection is graded only using the maps listed.
Anything outside that span is ignored.

Examples:

  • “Map 1 Kills” → only Map 1 counts

  • “Map 1–2 Headshots” → only Maps 1 & 2 count

  • Map 3 NEVER counts unless listed

🔹 Map Span Rules (Important)

If a projection includes multiple maps (e.g., Map 1–2) → all maps in the span must be played.

🧩 Examples

✔️ Example 1 — “Map 1 Kills”

Player starts the match.
Stats:

  • Map 1: 18 kills

  • Map 2: ignored

  • Map 3: ignored

Graded as 18 kills.

✔️ Example 2 — “Map 1–2 Kills” (Map Span Example)

Projection: Higher than 25.5

Player results:

  • Map 1: 14 kills

  • Map 2: 12 kills

  • Map 3: ignored

14 + 12 = 26 kills

✔️ Example 3 — Map 2 Not Played

Projection: Map 1–2 Headshots

Match ends 2–0 (Map 2 never happens):

  • Map 1: 4 HS

  • Map 2: not played → required part of span missing

Result: Voided (map span incomplete)

✔️ Example 4 — Player Starts Match, Then Subbed Out

Player participates in Round 1 but is subbed after a few rounds:

  • Participation met → Pick stands

  • Only rounds the player played are counted

If Map 1 is completed as required, the projection is graded normally.

🔹 Postponed, Canceled, or Unplayed Matches

If the match never begins, all players = DNPvoid.

If the match starts and the player participates → grading continues based on maps played.

🔹 Pauses & Technical Issues

If a map is paused or delayed:

  • Completed rounds count

  • If the map never resumes, that map cannot be used for grading

  • Span projections may void if the map doesn't complete

⚖️ Push & Void Rules

🔹 Push

Landing exactly on the line (e.g., 20.0 kills on a 20.0 line):

  • The pick becomes a push

  • It is removed from the entry

  • Payouts adjust based on remaining legs

🔹 Void Scenarios

A pick is voided if:

  • The match never begins

  • A map inside the projection span is not played
(e.g., Map 1–2 projection but only Map 1 played)

  • Match is abandoned before the required map is completed

🔹 Not Voided (Still Graded) if:

  • Player starts Map 1 (even if subbed later)

  • Player reconnects after a drop

  • Player participates in only some rounds

  • Match plays at least the map(s) required in the projection

  • Overtime is played

  • The match is paused but resumes

Participation alone is enough to keep the projection active.
