What is PvP Blackjack?
The aim of Blackjack is to beat the dealer. Players are dealt two cards and can choose to ‘hit’ (take another card) or ‘stand’ (keep their current hand). The dealer must follow fixed rules, hitting on 16 or lower and standing on 17 or higher. A player wins by having a higher total than the dealer without exceeding 21, or if the dealer busts by going over 21. If both have the same total, it’s a push (tie), and the player’s bet is returned.
In this version of the game, your result (the number of chips won after 10 rounds) is benchmarked to another real player who had the exact same cards dealt during his round. Unlike traditional Blackjack, where luck plays a significant role, this game is skill-based because both players face identical conditions (ie. same cards dealt, same dealer rules).
In this version, players compete asynchronously—each plays 10 rounds with the same card sequence and time limit. The final number of chips determines the winner.
How to Win a match
Accumulate more chips than your opponent.
The game lasts 10 rounds, and both players face identical card sequences and dealer rules.
Players earn chips by winning bets, capitalizing on Blackjack bonuses, and taking advantage of win streak multipliers.
Scoring:
Win: Chips are returned at a 1:1 ratio.
Natural Blackjack: Pays out 1.5x the bet (3:2), with an additional +50% bonus to the chips.
Win Streaks: Consecutive wins increase payouts (see Boost section for details).
Time Limit
Each round must be completed within 6 minutes. If time runs out, the results are calculated automatically based on your total chip count, including any chips already placed on the table.
The speed of completing a round does not impact the final outcome.
Boost – Win Streak Bonus
Blackjack Bonus:
A natural Blackjack (Ace + a card worth 10 points) adds +50% to the chips won in that round and is treated as a win.
Win Streak Bonuses:
2 consecutive wins: +20% bonus chips.
3 consecutive wins: +30% bonus chips.
4 consecutive wins: +50% bonus chips.
5 consecutive wins: +80% bonus chips.
6 consecutive wins: +130% bonus chips.
7 or more consecutive win: +200% bonus chips.
Push (tie) does not interrupt the win streak.
Additional Rules
Betting:
Minimum bet: 10 chips.
Maximum bet: All-in (all available chips, rounded to the nearest chip value).
Betting buttons adjust dynamically based on the number of available chips.
No common table game bonuses:
No insurance.
No side bets on pairs or other combinations.
Win Against Dealer:
If your hand is higher than the dealer’s without exceeding 21 (or if the dealer busts), you win the hand and receive the pot from this deal plus a bonus.
Busted:
If your hand exceeds 21, you automatically lose a hand, regardless of the dealer’s final total.
Push (tie):
If the result is a tie, the bet is returned to the player, and the win streak remains intact.
How Cards are Counted
Card Values:
Number cards (2-10): Worth their face value.
Face cards (Jack, Queen, King): Worth 10 points.
Ace: Can be worth 1 or 11 points, depending on which benefits the player’s hand the most.
Game End and Timeout
If the game timer runs out before the player completes all 10 rounds, the game will end automatically, and the message "Time Out" will be displayed.
The player’s score is calculated based on Chips in the deposit. See score on a game header.
Attention: Chips on the table (in game) are not counted to the score point!
Push (Tie)
In the event of a tie (when both the player and the dealer have the same hand value):
The bet is returned to the player.
Win streak bonuses remain active—a tie does not interrupt a streak.
Betting Buttons
The betting buttons adjust dynamically based on the player’s available chips:
Minimum Bet Button: Displays the minimum bet (10 chips).
Maximum Bet Button (All-in): Allows the player to bet all available chips, rounded to the nearest chip value.
Buttons adapt automatically if the player’s total chips fall below the default minimum or maximum bet values.
Player Actions
During each turn, players can use the following options:
Hit: Draw an additional card to improve your hand’s total.
Stand: End your turn and keep your current hand.
Double: Double your bet and draw one additional card. After doubling, the turn ends automatically.
Split: If your initial two cards are of the same value, you can split them into two separate hands. Each hand requires an additional bet equal to the original wager.
End: Stop current game and we count all chips player what is equal to player score.
Deck Composition
The game uses a shoe made of 2 standard decks (104 cards total).
Players can strategize by keeping track of cards that have already been dealt, helping to predict the likelihood of certain cards appearing later.
Dealer Gameplay Rules (17 Rule)
The dealer follows strict rules on when to hit (draw a card) or stand (keep their hand).
In the stop 17 rule, the dealer must hit if their hand totals 17 with an Ace counted as 11 (e.g., A-6).
The dealer must stand on 17 or higher (e.g., 10-7 or 9-8).
Example of 17 Play:
Dealer has A♣ 6♦ (17).
The dealer must stand.
Dealer Peek Rule
If the dealer's first card is an Ace or a 10-value card (10, J, Q, K), they will peek at their second card to check for Blackjack.
If the dealer has Blackjack, the round ends immediately, and all players lose unless they also have Blackjack (push).
Example of a Dealer Peek:
Dealer’s first card: A♠
Before players make any moves, the dealer checks the face-down card. Shown by animation.
If it’s a K♦, the dealer reveals Blackjack, and the game ends.
If it’s a 7♣, the game continues as normal.
Dealer’s Forced Draws Until 17
The dealer must keep drawing cards until they reach at least 17.
Even if a player's total is low, the dealer must follow these rules.
Example Scenario:
Player stands at 10 points (e.g., 5♠ 5♥).
Dealer has 12 points (e.g., 6♣ 6♠).
The dealer must hit and draws a 5♦ (total now 17).
The dealer stands at 17 and wins, even though the player finished first.
In Blackjack, the dealer's strict rules mean they may sometimes win with a weak hand, but they also risk going over 21 (busting), which benefits players.
Basic Tips for Players
Avoid risks without a win streak:
If you don’t have an active win streak bonus, play cautiously and place smaller bets to minimize potential losses.
Leverage bonuses:
When you have a high win streak multiplier, consider placing larger bets to maximize potential payouts. For example:
Bet: 500 chips, multiplier: +50%, payout: 750 chips.
Losing a streak can hurt, but a big win often compensates for the risk.
Think strategically about the card sequence:
Your opponent is playing with the exact same card sequence.
For example, suppose in the first hand you have made a large wager (500 chips) and dealer has a natural Blackjack on your table (and you lost), your opponent will have it on his table too. In such cases, its possible you are already at a disadvantage because of your large (lost) wager. Consider ways you might be able to close the gap over the remaining rounds (possibly taking on even more risk)
Don’t fear risk, but maintain balance:
When you have a significant chip advantage, focus on maintaining it rather than taking unnecessary risks.
Examples of Good and Bad Moves
Good Move:
Situation: You have 16 points, and the dealer shows 6.
Action: Stand. The dealer has a high chance of busting while trying to reach 17 or higher.
Reason: Your risk of going over 21 (bust) is too high, and the dealer is statistically likely to lose.
Bad Move:
Situation: You have 12 points, and the dealer shows 10.
Action: Stand.
Reason: The dealer likely has a strong hand (20 points), so you need to take the risk of hitting to have a chance of winning.
Advanced Strategy
Predict your opponent’s decisions:
Since both players have identical card sequence, consider what choices your opponent might make. If they are likely to take risks and fail, you can win by playing more conservatively.
Win streak as an advantage:
If you have an active win streak multiplier, take calculated risks to maintain the streak and maximize chip gains.
When to go All-in:
If your opponent is likely forced into an All-in situation in future rounds, you can play more cautiously to secure a safer win.
Strategical End game:
If you remember that there are still many Aces and 10-point cards left in the deck, the risk of the dealer hitting a Blackjack is significantly higher. In this case, it might be wiser to surrender with your current points, hoping your opponent takes the risk and loses.
Use Double Button:
You can choose the 'Double' option after being dealt your first two cards. This button is only available if you have enough chips, effectively doubling the total bet.
This move is made when the player's hand is in a strong position (e.g., 9, 10, or 11 points) and the dealer's face-up card is weak (e.g., 4, 5, or 6), but please remember it is very risky move.
Final Tips
Know your limits: Don’t risk too much.
Pay attention to the card sequence: Since both players and the dealer share the same cards, base your decisions on logic, not emotions.
Plan ahead: Use higher bets only when you have a win streak.
Stay calm: Even if the initial rounds don’t go well, smart play can turn the game in your favor.
Balance matters: Many games end with both players losing chips. Every chip you save could be crucial for victory.
Good luck earning chips and outplaying your opponents! 🎲🃏
