✅ Player Participation – Action Rule

For a pick to be active, the player must be in the starting XI. If a player is not part of the starting lineup, their entry will be marked as voided, even if they later enter the game as a substitute.

Additionally, if a listed starter is injured in the first half and does not return for the second half, that pick will be voided in accordance with our Voided Picks Policy.
However, normal gameplay substitutions—such as being subbed off for performance, tactical reasons, or accumulation of cards—do not qualify for a void and will stand as action.

📊 Stat Categories & Definitions

🔹 Offensive Stats

  • Goals
A goal is scored when the ball crosses the goal line and is confirmed as a goal by the referee. The player who scores the goal will receive credit for it.

  • Assists
An assist is awarded for a pass leading directly to a goal. This includes assists from a corner kick, throw-in, or free kick. A player is not awarded an assist if they regain control of the ball from the defense and score, or if the goal is from a penalty kick.

  • Shots
The total number of shots taken by a player, regardless of whether they are on target. This includes shots that miss or are blocked by defenders, and penalties or free kicks in regular time.

  • Shots on Goal
The total number of shots taken that hit the target, either resulting in a goal or forcing a save from the goalkeeper. If a shot is deflected by a defender and saved by the goalkeeper, the player who initially took the shot is credited with the shot on goal.

  • Passing Attempts
The total number of passes a player attempts during the match, whether successful or unsuccessful. Any intentional pass—short, long, through ball, cross, or back pass—counts as a pass attempt.

  • Own Goals
If a defender accidentally puts the ball into their own net, they are credited with an own goal. They will not receive credit for a shot or shot on goal for this. However, if an attacking player’s shot is deflected by the defender into the net, the attacking player is still credited with a shot and a shot on goal.

🔹 Defensive Stats

  • Goalie Saves
The total number of shots on target a goalkeeper successfully stops from entering the net. A “save” is only counted when the shot would have resulted in a goal without the goalkeeper’s intervention.

  • Goals Against
The total number of goals scored against a goalkeeper while they are actively in the match. Any goal conceded while the goalkeeper is on the pitch counts toward this number, regardless of defensive errors or deflections.

  • Tackles
The total number of successful tackles made by a player during the match. A tackle is when a player wins possession of the ball from an opponent through physical contact.

  • Clearances
The total number of times a player clears the ball from their defensive zone, typically with a kick or header, in an attempt to relieve pressure on their defense.

  • Interceptions
The total number of passes intercepted by a player, preventing an opposing player from receiving the ball.

  • Defensive Blocks
The total number of times a player blocks an opponent’s shot, preventing the ball from reaching the goal.

🔹 Special Teams and Kicking Stats

  • Penalty Kicks (PKs)
The total number of penalty kicks attempted by a player. A goal scored from a penalty kick is counted as a regular goal, but the player is awarded credit for the PK stat.

🔹 Game Endings and Extra Time

  • Extra Time
If the match ends in a draw after regular time, Extra Time (Overtime) is played. Any stats recorded in Extra Time will count towards your entry.

*Penalty Shootouts*

Stats recorded during a penalty shootout after Extra Time do not count toward your entry.
